With hundreds of thousands of visitors expected to come to the international night market, vendors will want to sign up early and take advantage of the "Early Bird" sign-up incentive. Those who sign up first will be allocated preferred positions with the highest anticipated traffic and turnover.
Starting Monday, Dec. 5, vendors are invited to call 604-244-8448 to secure their spot. Working in tandem with Tourism Richmond, this year's market will embark on an ambitious marketing and promotional campaign aimed at drawing visitors to Richmond from throughout the Lower Mainland, including Downtown Vancouver, as well as the United States, including Seattle and other parts of Washington State.
For the first time, visitors will be able to shop from the freshest, in-season, locally-grown produce in the Lower Mainland. Strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, apples, corn...whatever's grown locally by B.C. farmers will be on display.
Discounted rates are available for farmers and artisans alike, as B.C. grown fruits and vegetables and hand-crafted works will be featured side-by-side in the new Farmers and Artisans sections. But with a limited amount of space of available, vendors are urged to sign up early.
